Role Overview
ARCHAE is seeking passionate and knowledgeable volunteer writers to create engaging, well-researched articles on archaeological topics for our website. This role is perfect for individuals with a keen interest in archaeology, history, or anthropology who want to share their expertise and enthusiasm with a broad audience.
Responsibilities
- Research and write high-quality articles on archaeological discoveries, historical contexts, methodologies, or cultural significance.
- Ensure content is accurate, accessible, and engaging for both general readers and archaeology enthusiasts.
- Collaborate with the ARCHAE editorial team to develop article ideas and align with the site’s tone and style.
- Submit articles (500–1,000 words) on agreed-upon deadlines, typically 1–2 articles per month.
- Cite credible sources and adhere to ethical writing standards.
Qualifications
- Strong interest in archaeology, anthropology, or related fields (formal education or self-taught expertise welcome).
- Excellent writing and research skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
- Familiarity with archaeological terminology and current trends in the field.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
